Job Overview
We are launching a new role to support the expansion of GMS into North America. As the Account Director, Earned & Paid Media, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our earned and paid media services in this key region for key agency clients. This position will play a critical role in shaping GMS’s presence in North America, while ensuring the successful execution of client campaigns and initiatives. Working closely with London HQ and international offices, your primary focus will be on developing and managing relationships with clients, overseeing media strategies, and driving measurable results through innovative marketing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Media Planning: Lead the development and implementation of integrated earned and paid media strategies for clients in North America, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Client Servicing: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the main point of contact to ensure client satisfaction and the successful delivery of campaigns.
Campaign Execution: Oversee the execution of media campaigns across traditional and digital platforms, including PR, social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and paid media initiatives.
Performance Management: Analyse campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimise strategies and improve ROI.
Team Leadership: Manage a growing team of media professionals, ensuring the seamless coordination of projects and campaigns across the region.
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North American market, working closely with the leadership team to drive growth.
Market Expansion: Help shape GMS’s expansion strategy for North America, bringing insights into market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs.
Partnership Management: Develop and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry stakeholders to amplify clients’ earned media exposure.
Budget Management: Manage media budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximise campaign effectiveness.
