The winner of the Masters Tournament used Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Hybrid Tour X-flex shaft in his utility iron last week at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

It was the fourth victory of the calendar year for the No. 1 player in the world, who shot 10-under par with rounds of 69-67-71-71—278. The steady 25-year-old Texan took home a winner’s cheque of $2.7 million.

“Nippon Shaft would like to congratulate the winner of this year’s Masters Tournament,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “We are thrilled that he trusts the Nippon Shaft’s breakthrough hybrid technology designed for use in the utility iron. The shaft combines the best qualities of steel and graphite and has become increasingly popular both on professional tours and with everyday golfers.”

More than 200 players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, DP World Tour and Korn Ferry Tour use Nippon Shaft’s MODUS³ series steel shafts to help gain their desired distance, accuracy, and trajectory.
