Essendon Country Club is inviting members and non-members alike to enjoy the atmosphere and facilities on offer at the club during their inaugural Festival of Golf month that begins on the 1^st May.

The club will be hosting a full schedule of events throughout the month with something on offer everyday ranging from members’ competitions to Give-Golf-a-Go sessions.

“The golf season is just starting to get underway in earnest and what better way to kick-start the year than a month dedicated to celebrating the game with fun golf events for all ages and abilities?” commented Paul Densham, Director of Golf at Essendon Country Club.

“We are fortunate enough here at Essendon to have a thriving membership of like-minded people who love the game, but we’re always eager to further promote the sport and introduce more people to golf and the varied facilities that we have on offer here at the club.”

Highlights of the Festival include visitor green fees for only £10 every Tuesday and Thursday between 12:00 and 16:00, Give-Golf-a-Go sessions on the 12^th, 15^th and 22^nd, the notorious Blue Monster Men’s Open on the 14th and the highly anticipated Night Golf and Casino Evening on Friday 19^th.

Joe Miller, 2016 World Long Drive Champion, will also be at the club during the month, hosting a Long Game Exhibition and displaying his expert skills in monster drives.
