Adventure Leisure Ltd. has announced that it has received planning permission for a new indoor adventure golf venue in the Stevenage Leisure Park.

The new development will feature two 18-hole adventure golf courses and be a flagship venue for the Adventure Leisure brand, complementing the existing range of recreational facilities on offer in the Leisure Park.

Planning has already been approved and local residents will soon be able to make the most of this new addition to Stevenage’s leisure offering in spring 2016.

The new venue will feature a fully licensed bar and separate party areas for evening entertainment, while the nautical themed Lost World Adventure Golf activity will enable children of all ages to follow the adventures of the fictitious Mr Mulligan character.

Based in the popular Stevenage Leisure Park, the new miniature golf destination will be the first 36-hole Adventure Golf venue in the county, and provide an indoor family activity destination for evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Hugh Knowles, Operations and Development Director at Adventure Leisure, commented, “We are extremely excited about the prospect of bringing Adventure Golf to Stevenage, and feel it will only enhance what is already a popular local hub for leisure and recreation.

“Our concept provides the perfect way to introduce kids to the game of golf on a fun level, while the two challenging courses will also provide entertainment for those of the older generation.”

The announcement of this new flagship site follows on from recent news that Adventure Leisure is to rebrand its entire existing portfolio of venues, a plan which will see the company further pursue the modern growth of leisure activities, as well as exploring new and emerging recreational pursuits.
