Golf Marketing Services Ltd (GMS), Europe’s leading Golf PR and Marketing agency, has announced the launch of a Player Management Division, with an initial three player stable of former standout English amateur Tomasz Anderson, European Tour winner Daniel Brooks and established professional Thomas Shadbolt.

With its unrivalled golf PR and marketing expertise, GMS will offer a bespoke range of services to its portfolio of professional golfers, with an emphasis on media communications, brand building and sponsorship acquisition.

Anderson, who only turned professional in August 2015, put together one of the most successful US collegiate careers by an Englishman to date, winning seven tournaments for Jacksonville State University over a four year period. Anderson was part of the England Golf setup throughout his time as an amateur, and was also included in GB&I’s preliminary 2015 Walker Cup Squad.

Brooks, who currently sits 23rd in the 2016 Race to Dubai rankings after a 3rd place finish at the BMW South Africa Open, won for the first time at the Madeira Islands Open in 2014 and has since established himself on the European Tour. The highlight of his 2015 season was undoubtedly his finish at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open which qualified him for his first Open Championship the following week at St. Andrews.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the GMS team. Their PR and communications expertise, along with their ability to source and negotiate sponsorship, are exactly aligned with what I’m looking for from a management company. I’m looking forward to a long and productive relationship with them,” commented Brooks.

Shadbolt, who finished 9th in last year’s Alps Tour Order of Merit, turned professional in 2010 following a glittering amateur career. After becoming the youngest ever Hertfordshire County Champion aged only 16, Shadbolt went on to win the 2009 Italian Amateur and represent England at both A and Elite Squad levels.

“We believe that our unique approach to player management will enable us to provide a bespoke service for a stable of professional golfers. We’re extremely pleased to have Tomasz, Daniel and Thomas onboard, and we’re excited at what the future holds for all three of them.” said Sam Elder, Account Director at GMS.
