Nippon Shaft’s N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 X-flex steel irons shafts were in the champion’s irons on Sunday at the Web.com Tour’s Country Club de Bogota Championship in Colombia.

It was the 157th victory for the MODUS³ brand and the first win in 2019 for the Tour 105 model.

“Nippon Shaft would like to congratulate the winner of the Country Club de Bogota Championship on his impressive victory,” said Hiro Fukuda, sales and marketing for Nippon Shaft. “Nippon Shaft is extremely proud that our N.S.PRO MODUS³ Tour 105 has become one of the most popular shafts on professional tours around the world.”

The University of South Carolina product, who will celebrate his 33rd birthday on Valentine’s Day, shot a 17-under-par 266 with rounds of 62-71-66-67 to win by four shots and put himself in good position himself to earn status on the PGA Tour for the 2019-20 season.

Nippon Shaft products are available globally either as stock or custom shafts in many of the world’s top iron brands. Details of these can be found at nipponshaft.com.

Based in Yokohama, Japan, Nippon Shaft is the No. 1-selling steel shaft in Asia. Nippon Shaft is a privately-held subsidiary of NHK Spring Co. LTD, a Japanese automobile parts manufacturer. Nippon Shaft’s North American headquarters is in Carlsbad.
