PING has announced the appointment of three new UK apparel sales agents to cover the increasing demand for the brand’s forthcoming Autumn/Winter 2015 collection, designed solely in-house.
The goal is for Ping Collection to provide customers with the award-winning service they’ve come to expect from the PING brand. The new appointments are further examples of the steps being taken to ensure that the apparel business’s approach completely mirrors that of the hardware.
Operating under Ping Collection’s European Sales Director, Giles Birkhead, Laurence Matthewson (Yorkshire & North East), Mark Birchill (West Midlands) and Nick Dalton (East Midlands) will commence duties immediately.
“I’m delighted to have three new experienced agents on board. Together, they hold an enormous amount of industry knowledge, which will help us grow our distribution significantly in these areas, and they will fit perfectly into the PING ethos” said Giles Birkhead.

Operating across the West Midlands, Mark Birchill has 25 years’ industry experience and has been working as a golf apparel sales agent for 10 years in the region.
Similarly, East Midlands agent Nick Dalton has extensive knowledge of the golf trade and has been working as a golf apparel sales agent for almost three decades.
Covering Yorkshire and the North East, Laurence Matthewson has great experience in working with key green grass accounts through his work as a golf representative over the past 4 years.
