Thornbury Golf Centre, a Burhill Golf and Leisure (BGL) venue in Thornbury, is enjoying a season of change this spring with new members of staff and a fully refurbished Pro Shop.

The popular pay-and-play course on the outskirts of Bristol has undergone an extensive shop refurbishment, maximising the facility to offer golfers a greater selection of golf specific goods.

New items now stocked include top-brands such as PING, FootJoy, Nike, and Oscar Jacobson, amongst other high quality golfing apparel and hardware brands.

Trainee PGA Professional, Nye Brown, is also a new addition to the Pro Shop and will work alongside the existing, experienced professionals at the club to gain his PGA qualification.

Other new additions to the thriving team at Thornbury include Joanne Wixon as Wedding Co-ordinator, and Nicola Burrill as Sales Manager.

General Manager at Thornbury Golf Centre, Tim Good, is delighted with the new developments at the club:

Thornbury continues to provide premium golfing facilities to cater for every standard of player, with two beautiful and challenging courses, a 25-bay floodlit driving range, and an 11-bedroom lodge.
