Shot Scope, the Scottish golf technology company, is cementing itself firmly within the heart of the Scottish golf industry after announcing its partnership with Fife Golf and its sponsorship of the 2017 Scottish Golf Awards.
The innovative technology brand, born and bred in Scotland, the Home of Golf, is enjoying a time of expansion and sees the partnership with Fife Golf and the sponsorship of the 2017 Scottish Golf Awards Player of the Year title as a huge step forward for the company in helping to celebrate golf in Scotland and promote advancements in the game.
“The Scottish golf industry is a strong network of likeminded companies and organisations dedicated to furthering the game and promoting the Home of Golf,” commented David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope.
“By partnering with Fife Golf, we can work closely with some of the most prestigious courses in the country, and we’re excited to see the product flourish in the area.
“We’re also immensely proud to be sponsoring the 2017 Scottish Golf Awards Player of the Year accolade. The awards are at the heart of celebrating Scottish success in golf and acknowledging the contributions made to the game by the best players in the country,” he continued.
First used on the European Tour by Jamie McLeary at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship last October, Shot Scope is the first and only performance tracking system that collects data automatically, without disrupting play due to the need to tag or sync with a phone.
Since its launch to market in January 2016, the brand has experienced high praise within the industry and as of the beginning of February, has begun fulfilling orders from over 70 golf clubs in Scotland who want to stock Shot Scope in their pro shops.
“Bringing Shot Scope in as a partner was an easy decision,” commented Liam Barn, Project Manager at Fife Golf Partnership.
“They’re a Scottish company developing industry leading golf technology and the mutual benefits of working together were quickly apparent; Shot Scope is a very welcome addition to the group of business we already work with and everyone here at Fife Golf is looking forward to growing this great partnership.”
