Golf Genius, the leading global provider of cloud-based tournament software, has launched an application on Amazon Fire TV allowing users to simply and quickly display leaderboards on television screens.

The easy and efficient solution enables golf tournament organisers to cast their Golf Genius competition leaderboards straight up to any television enabled with an Amazon Fire TV Stick in a streamlined way, and without the need for a dedicated computer.

“Television leaderboards have become increasingly popular among golfers as part of the post-round clubhouse experience and the ability to seamlessly display leaderboards using an Amazon Fire TV Stick makes life easier for the organiser while simultaneously increasing player engagement at events.

“This device has quickly proved to be the most efficient and most convenient way to display television leaderboards, allowing golfers to follow the action live from the clubhouse.”

To get started, users simply need to insert an Amazon Fire TV Stick into any television with an HDMI port, open the Golf Genius Fire TV app and connect their leaderboard via either the Golf Genius mobile app or by entering a round GGID into the Fire TV app.

Once the leaderboard is set up, controlling the settings is easy using the Fire TV remote to optimise scroll rate, font size and alignment.
